Abstract

Simpur leaf (Dillenia indica L) is a plant that contains polyphenolic compounds, flavonoids, steroids, terpenoids, tannins and saponins that function as antifungal agents. Candida albicans is a fungus that can cause skin candidiasis. The purpose of this study was to formulate simpur leaf extract into a shampoo dosage form by testing its antifungal activity. The shampoo preparations were made in 3 formulas with varying concentrations of 5%, 10% and 20% then an evaluation was carried out which showed the shampoo preparations had met the requirements such as organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, foam height, stability and hedonic tests. The antifungal activity test used the well method with negative control without the addition of extract and 2% ketoconazole was used as a positive control. Tests of simpur leaf extract against the fungus Candida albicans showed a concentration of 20% had the largest inhibitory diameter of 11.55 mm compared to concentrations of 5% (6.398 mm) and 10% (8.375 mm). While the shampoo preparation test showed that F3 with a concentration of 20% had the largest inhibition zone diameter of 12.008 mm compared to F1 and F2 with a concentration of 10% (9.775%) and 5% (6.725 mm). The negative control had an inhibition zone of 2.13 mm and the positive control had an inhibition zone of 13.78 mm.

Abstract

Business development must be in line with the development of information and communication technologies to accomplish organizational goals effectively and efficiently. For the educational sector, stakeholders must create and construct information systems that are quick, exact, and accurate regarding business operations in achieving organizational objectives. Information system development must be created in accordance with the organization's strategy to fulfill the organization's information system requirements. BLC Course Institutions recognizes the need of developing an information system that can fulfill the requirements of the organization. The institutions planned to develop enterprise architecture to harmonize the current business strategy in BLC. As the course institute does not have a thorough enterprise architectural design, information system management and business practices are not aligned and lack maturity. So, it has an impact on the service that will be provided to customers. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Architecture Development Method was utilized to create this Enterprise Architecture. Data architecture, application architecture, technology architecture, and creating an implementation plan roadmap are included in enterprise architectural planning in BLC. The process of information architecture determining that was constructed refers to the procedures that had taken place in the educational system administration. The definition process covered in this study includes infrastructure, marketing, academic funding, learning planning, and learning execution. This research produced a blueprint that was utilized to enable integrated business processes. The enterprise architecture created during this stage will be used to assist business operations and accomplish their strategic objectives. The research conclusions indicated that the TOGAF method can be utilized as a tool to design the enterprise architecture of this information system and resulted in a general design architecture model in line with the vision and mission of the BLC and can be used to apply to other tutoring institutions that employ comparable business practices.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on education in Indonesia. From 2020 to 2021, the government requires that the learning process be carried out online. However, in early 2022 the government allowed schools in several areas to carry out offline (face-to-face) learning by implementing strict health protocols. Therefore, this study's purpose was to compare the effectiveness of physics learning outcomes against online and offline learning at SMA Negeri 1 Tikep. This study uses a quantitative method approach in analyzing physics learning outcomes. The data used in this study were 116 sample data obtained from a questionnaire given to class X IPA students at SMAN 1 Tikep. Based on the study's results, it was found that as many as 98% of students were happy with offline learning, while only 36% were happy with online learning. Offline physics learning is effective for student learning outcomes, while online learning is less effective. Students learning motivation in taking physics lessons offline has increased by 100%. When compared to student learning motivation in participating in online physics learning, it is only 17.24%. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that online physics learning at SMAN 1 Tikep cannot run effectively. The results of this study are expected to be used as material for evaluating the government in the distribution of education in Indonesia, especially in the procurement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities.

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays an important role for the welfare of society. Agriculture plays a role as a producer of food, employment, and a source of foreign exchange for the country. However, the Indonesian agricultural sector still has several problems, namely: 1) Farming capital; 2) Agricultural technology tools; and 3) Marketing of agricultural products. In this regard, one solution that can solve the problem jointly is the existence of an Agribusiness Micro Finance Institution or also known as Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Agribisnis (LKM-A) in Indonesian. LKM-A is a liaison for the easy access of agricultural businesses to various productive resources, namely: capital, technology, and marketing. Along with the role of helping the farming community, there are also several problems faced by LKM-A itself. LKM-A has three main problems, namely 1) LKM-A's limited income because it only pivots on one business scheme, namely members' savings and loans; 2) The management system is still conventional due to lack of access to technology; and 3) Financial services from LKM-A are still limited and conventional. Therefore, this study aims to solve the LKM-A problem. Solutions as problem solvers that will be implemented in this study through theoretical and practical assistance (guidance and training) consist of: 1) Developing business schemes to increase LKM-A income and member welfare, through farming capital financing schemes, agricultural technology rental services, and digital-based marketing of agricultural products; 2) Develop digital-based business management using several supporting systems such as the Database Management System (DBMS), Microsoft outlook, google spreadsheet, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); 3) Develop digital financial system-based business services with digital payments through chip-based E-Money, fintech E-wallet, EDC, and QRis.

Abstract

Empirical studies and literature studies on school-based management have indeed been carried out by many researchers and academics before. However, most have not discussed the implementation of SBM specifically in terms of curriculum and learning processes. Based on this, this study intends to deepen knowledge about SBM, especially regarding influence on the quality of education in private vocational high schools and its impact on employment competitiveness. According to the findings of several previous research, the impact of implementing SBM has demonstrated positive results in several aspects of the school, including student attendance, academic achievement, and school management specifically in terms of curriculum and learning processes. as well as the effect of SBM on employment competitiveness show that there are six elements that help students become more competitive, including strong school-community ties, curriculum that adheres to industry standards, qualified teachers, modern facilities, and infrastructure that meet industry standards, availability of adequate funding for the SMK program, and motivated and enthusiastic students. Additionally, there are five factors that prevent students from becoming more competitive at the vocational high school level. These factors include teachers' subpar abilities, a lack of government and industry collaboration, subpar facilities and infrastructure, minimal and restricted sources of funding for schools, and graduates who lack the skills and motivation to find employment. so that it can be concluded that SBM greatly influences the quality of educators and employment competitiveness.
